Hello, my name is Phillip Garcia. I am an enrolled member of the Pueblo of Acoma, and I am a Certified Peer Support Specialist. My passion for recovery and prevention comes from my own struggle with substance misuse.  Sober since July 14, 2018, I have been a part of the recovery movement in nearly every way imaginable.  My passion also comes from a place of lived experience and passion for helping others.  Through my lived experiences and personal challenges, I hope to motivate and influence positive healing and growth in others. I believe that providing a space for culturally based healing plays a critical role in recovery, maintenance, prevention, and helps our communities to recover and thrive.
